Excella Inks Blanket Purchase Agreement with Justice Department

Excella Consulting is pleased to announce it has been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the U.S. Department of Justice. Under the BPA, with an estimated value of $5 million, Excella will directly support the CIO on several high-profile Justice initiatives, including:
  • A Department-wide IT infrastructure consolidation strategy
  • Implementation of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and HSPD-12 standards
The Homeland Security Presidential Directive, or HSPD-12, was issued by President Bush in August, 2004. According to HSPD-12, federal agencies must adhere to a standard identity-management system that will control both physical access to federal buildings and logical access to federal data systems.

In its work for the Justice Department, Excella is partnering with eMentum Inc., a Gaithersburg, Md.-based firm specializing in PKI security and other IT solutions and the Center for Organizational Excellence, a Rockville Md.-based firm specializing in organizational effectiveness.

In January, Excella's consulting services were listed on GSA's Information Technology (Schedule 70) and MOBIS Schedules. For more information about Excella's GSA schedule, click here.
