Excella wins HSPD-12 Program Management Support contract with DOJ

Excella Consulting is pleased to announce it has been awarded the HSPD-12 Program Management Organizational (PMO) Support contract by the Department of Justice (DOJ). The Excella team will provide PMO and solution design/deployment expertise to DOJ in support of the Homeland Security Presidential Directive #12 (HSPD-12) mandate. HSPD-12 requires all Federal Executive Departments and Agencies to implement a government-wide standard for secure and reliable forms of identification to their employees and contractors. Excella's contract with DOJ includes:

  • Defining the HSPD-12 technical and corresponding business architecture for Department of Justice, including requirements definition, technical architecture, business process definition, and vendor analysis and procurement management.
  • Planning and management of the HSPD-12 deployment across all DOJ components and geographies, including pilot and release planning, component coordination and communication, and defining and implementing the organizational structure necessary to support the new DOJ HSPD-12 business operations.
  • Program management support, including schedule and financial management of the program, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and DOJ executive reporting, and defining and enforcing program guidelines, methodologies and standards.

Excella is proud to partner with eMentum, a woman-owned business intelligence consulting firm, on this project. The contract to support DOJ's HSPD-12 program is an extension of the Excella and eMentum team's HSPD-12 support to DOJ, which began in January 2005.
