Excella Wins E-Authentication PMO Support Contract with GSA

Excella Consulting is pleased to announce it has been awarded the E-Authentication Program Management Office (PMO) Support contract by the General Services Administration (GSA). E-Authentication is one of the Presidential E-Government initiatives, and is working to provide trusted authentication services to government agencies, enabling them to in turn provide citizens and businesses the ability to access federal agency applications online in a standard and secure manner. In support of this significant program, Excella is delivering project management, communications/marketing support, business analysis, financial management, administrative support, and executive thought leadership. Activities to be undertaken by the Support Team include:

  • Supporting the daily PMO operations, including schedule and financial management; Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and GSA executive reporting; risks and issue identification and management; and definition and implementation of program guidelines, methodologies, and standards.
  • Facilitating and coordinating development of a new business model that will translate the E-Authentication activities from a mandated to a fee-for-service program, enabling agencies to purchase program services off of the GSA schedule.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive communications and marketing plan that will help the E-Authentication program succeed as it changes to its new business model.
  • Coordinating additional communications-related activities such as the E-Authentication web site, program newsletter, working group and Executive Steering Committee meetings.
  • Identifying, establishing and implementing financial controls that ensure the E-Authentication program is fiscally responsible and strategies that will help ensure it is viable in execution of its new business model.

Excella is proud to partner with eMentum, a woman-owned business intelligence consulting firm, on this project.
