Excella Responds to Virginia Tech Tragedy

Like most Americans, Excella Consulting was deeply saddened by the tragedy at Virginia Tech on April 16th, 2007. Excella’s partners and employees (including many Hokie alumni) felt it important to honor the victims and the university as a whole by contributing to the Virginia Tech Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund. The Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund is a special fund established by the university to support students, faculty, and families heal from the events of April 16th.

All Excella employees were invited to make donations to the cause. The partners of the firm agreed to match 100% of all employee donations. As a result, Excella was able to contribute a total gift of $5000 to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund.

Excella is proud to support Virginia Tech in its time of need. We thank our employees for their generosity. As one in particular noted: “’Hokie’ as it may sound, I’m proud to be part of a company that truly supports its local (and extended) community.” Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and all individuals affiliated with Virginia Tech.
