Certified Agile Leadership (CAL I) Training with Michael Sahota
Michael Sahota’s Certified Agile Leadership (CAL I) training is a two-day learning experience focused on an integrated understanding of culture, leadership, and organizational change. CAL I is about delivering high performance but from different perspectives. We provide an integrated view that enables rapid organizational growth through a proven playbook.
Who Should Attend
This course is great for executives, managers, coaches, leaders, and any member of the team that has to interact with management.
Prerequisites: You are expected to have basic knowledge of Agile. This may have come to you through industry experience, reading, meet-ups, or formal training. This course is designed for anyone seeking to foster a more “Agile” high-performance organization. It is accessible and essential for leaders in innovation, lean, human resources, etc. – not just Agile.
Course Pre-learning: Participants are expected to complete 2 hours of videos and readings in advance of the training. This allows for more time to focus on discussion and exploration. The reading guide will be shared with participants after registration.
What’s in it for You
- Evolve culture at all levels of the organization
- Identify causes of resistance and eliminate them
- Engage leaders using a proven step-by-step playbook
- Enhance your own leadership skills
- Work more effectively as a manager and with managers
- Recognize the actual problems blocking success
At the end of the course, you will receive the Certified Agile Leadership 1 (CAL I) certification from the Scrum Alliance. There is no test, but full participation in the class is necessary to receive the certification. This course also allows the students to claim 14 Project Management Institute (PMI)® Professional Development Units (PDUs) which can be applied to Project Management Professional (PMP)® and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® certifications. PMI, PMP, and PMI-ACP are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.
This experience will allow participants to undergo a process of letting go existing behaviors that block their ability to be an effective leader. They will explore models of culture and receive a playbook to guide the next steps on their journey to creating a high-performance organization. We shift the consciousness of participants so they become aware of the root challenges and are able to discover lasting solutions:
