Gift Card Bank Receives $5.6M Grant as Albertsons’ Newest National Partner

1 min read

We have partnered with Gift Card Bank–a Bay Area nonprofit focused on utilizing gift cards to support those in need, to help support the well-being and financial security of those affected by Covid-19. Gift Card Bank recently announced that it would be reaching a significant milestone; through being a national partner with Albertsons Companies Foundation, the organization will receive a $5.6M grant specifically for gift cards. This supply will help provide more than two million meals for families affected most by this pandemic.

“Being granted a $5.6 million grant from Albertsons is a major achievement and testament to the dedication and quality of the Gift Card Bank team,” said Claire Walsh, Vice President of Engineering and Services, Excella. “We look forward to continuing to provide our IT technical support for this nonprofit as it expands its vision for the future of ‘Gift Card Philanthropy.’”
