Excella’s Christina Seiden and Eddie Morris Win Pinnacle Awards for Business Development, Pricing
Arlington, Virginia, November 20, 2023 – Excella, a leading Agile technology and innovation firm, is pleased to announce that Christina Seiden, vice president of strategic growth, and Eddie Morris, vice president of pricing and profitability, have been named winners of the WashingtonExec Pinnacle Awards. Additionally, Mahreen Rashid, executive vice president of people services, was recognized as a Pinnacle Award finalist for HR Executive of the Year.
As vice president of strategic growth, Seiden has transformed Excella’s vision, strategy, and approach to revenue growth with a strong, laser focused plan to expand into new markets and target transformative technology solution areas. She has been pivotal to Excella’s success in securing high-profile contracts with organizations in the private and public sector. Today, Seiden won the Pinnacle Award for Business Development Executive of the Year.
Since joining Excella in 2021, Morris has used his 30+ years of pricing experience, including work at publicly traded, billion-dollar companies, to bring Excella to a new level of pricing maturity. In his role, Morris added an additional layer of sophistication to Excella’s pricing strategy, which is helping the company win more contracts, stay competitive in the market, and bring the benefits of emerging technology to more federal agencies. Today, he took home the Pinnacle Award for Pricing Executive of the Year.
With nearly a decade of experience at Excella, Rashid has completely transformed the company’s employee (or “Excellian”) experience, and led the company’s holistic, people-first pandemic response. As a result, Excella more than doubled its employee base last year, during a period of extremely competitive hiring. And in 2023, the company grew to over 300 employees, reaching its largest consultant base in history.
“Christina, Eddie, and Mahreen have each played a crucial role in Excella’s rapid growth these past few years,” said Excella co-founder and CEO Burton White. “Thanks to their unwavering dedication, Excella has been able to secure meaningful work that has made a real impact, all while fostering a workplace culture dedicated to growth and development. This recognition is well-deserved!”
