USCIS Verification Program Takes Top Honors for Innovation in Government!

Yesterday at the annual ACT-IAC Igniting Innovation event, the USCIS Verification Program took home the top award for innovation from a field of over 110 submissions. The team presented their work for a panel of judges from all levels of government and industry.
The USCIS Verification system is widely used by the private sector, federal, and state governments to determine eligibility for government benefits and to enable work authorizations for individuals across the country. The system is being rapidly modernized using Agile, DevOps, cloud services, and data science best practices to regularly deliver new features that make it easier for thousands of individuals to improve their lives by starting jobs, obtaining public benefits and other credentials in a timely fashion.
