Excella Appoints Sandy Gillespie to Propel Company’s Current and Future Client Engagements and Technology Innovation
Arlington, Virginia, March 31, 2020 – Excella, a pioneer in Agile technology solutions in the D.C. area, announced today the appointment of Sandy Gillespie as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). Gillespie brings nearly three decades of executive information technology expertise and experience.

Prior to joining the Excella team, Gillespie was the COO and executive vice president for NCI Information Systems, Inc., where she successfully led the consolidation of two acquisitions to form the Agile and Analytics Sector–resulting in pipeline growth of $1.7 billion. In her new role, Gillespie will oversee client delivery and develop growth strategies tightly integrated with the capabilities and workforce Excella excels at building. She will apply Excella’s transformative technology solutions to impact clients’ mission and exceed their expectations.
